FIERCE Joins Leander Chamber of Commerce

This year, FIERCE United deepened its roots in the community by joining the Leander Chamber of Commerce, an organization "committed to advancing our region’s economic vitality and quality of life through the provision of strong leadership and through the formation of dynamic organizational and community partnerships" (Leander Chamber of Commerce).
On September 23, Interim Executive Director Rachelle D'Amico and CFO Steve Keckler attended the Taste of Leander hosted by the Chamber. The event allowed FIERCE United to engage with members of the community, build ties with organizations in the area, and find new ways to serve the Leander community.
FIERCE Board Member Steve Keckler shared his enthusiasm for the club's new partnership:
FIERCE United is delighted to have joined the Leander Chamber of Commerce, representing our commitment to the community of the city of Leander. The new FIERCE Futsal Facility will be located in Leander, and we are actively building connections to businesses and leaders in the area to strengthen our community ties and grow the FIERCE Family.
With the new FIERCE Futsal Facility set to open next summer, the club is grateful for the opportunity to connect with the community via the Leander Chamber of Commerce. FIERCE looks forward to the doors that will be opened via this partnership and the opportunities to continue developing life-ready leaders in the area!
