FIERCE is delighted to announce Rachelle D'Amico as FIERCE United's Executive Director! In the summer of 2023, Rachelle D'Amico joined FIERCE United as the Academy Director. Since taking over the program, the Academy has grown tenfold, and Rachelle has led the charge on building programming that intentionally develops life-ready leaders. Two years after joining the club, Rachelle was promoted to Interim Executive Director and tasked with expanding her leadership role from the Academy program to the entire club. Her efforts were not only noticed by FIERCE, but the leagues FIERCE competes in. In fact, in April 2026 Rachelle was elected to CAYSA's Executive Committee as the new VP of Players: Girls DII.

After serving the club faithfully as an interim throughout the 25-26 season, Rachelle has now been cemented as FIERCE United's Executive Director. FIERCE Board Member and Chief Financial Officer Steve Keckler shared the Board's excitement:

The FIERCE United Board of Directors is delighted to announce that Rachelle D'Amico has been elevated to the position of Executive Director at the club. During her service as Interim Director over the past 9 months, she has grown the academy program to over fifty players, recruited five new members of the coaching staff, and guided the club through the changing competitive soccer landscape in South Texas. Rachelle will continue her leadership of the FIERCE Academy program where she has distinguished herself as the Academy Director over the last couple of years. Her leadership and cultivation of teamwork has been exemplary and we are delighted to have her at the helm for the coming years.

FIERCE United is grateful to have a wonderful role model at the forefront of the club that empowers women inside and outside of the club. In addition to her work at FIERCE, Rachelle supports women's sports as a cofounder of Austin Rise FC, a club dedicated to creating opportunities for women and building community through sport. Rachelle's contributions to the community were recognized earlier this year when she was selected as a Finalist for the Women of Wilco Recognition. The award honors female professionals of Williamson County making an impact in the community and draws nominees from business, education, healthcare, government, and nonprofit organizations like FIERCE United.

FIERCE United looks forward to an exciting year with Rachelle D'Amico leading the club, especially with the opening of FIERCE's new Futsal Facility on the horizon!
