FIERCE Coaches Krenz & Moy Earn USSF D License

In early March, Grey Program Lead Kallie Krenz and Academy Coach Alex Moy successfully concluded their US Soccer D Coaching Course and received their USSF D Licenses.

The course itself required 9 weeks of education with US Soccer staff, including a blend of virtual meetings, independent assignments, and in-person days. During the 9 weeks, Coach Kallie and Coach Alex learned how to create a positive and safe environment, plan and design a training session, implement activities and facilitate player learning, and organize the game day environment.

Coach Kallie expressed her gratitude for the opportunity, sharing:

The experience challenged me to grow as a coach and reinforced the importance of creating game-based environments where players can think, communicate, and develop their understanding of the game. I’m excited to bring what I learned back to our players and continue supporting their development. Also, thank you to all the amazing FIERCE staff/Directors for supporting me in my coaching journey!

Coach Alex embraced the coaching education, stating:

Earning my US Soccer D license was extremely valuable in providing me with a framework to better create a player-centered learning environment and also the opportunities to share experiences with fellow coaches. Looking forward to applying these ideas to my training sessions and game preparation to help our FIERCE players continuously grow and develop.

By earning their USSF D License, Coach Kallie and Coach Alex further FIERCE's mission to not only empower players, but also staff. They join Coach Kamille, Coach Nicki, and Coach Rachelle as FIERCE Staff members that recently earned higher licensing with FIERCE's assistance.

Coach Kallie joined FIERCE United as a Lead Coach in the 24-25 season, and expanded her role in 2025 to become the new Grey Program Lead. She currently coaches G12-13 Grey, G14 Grey, and G14 Navy. Coach Alex also joined FIERCE as an Academy Coach in the 24-25 season, and currently coaches FIERCE Academy Grey A.

FIERCE United is thrilled to see its coaches not only committed to developing players, but also developing themselves with further coaching education. FIERCE cannot wait to see how both coaches harness the lessons learned to continue empowering life-ready leaders on and off the field!
