FIERCE Futsal Facility Update (Mar 2026)

To better serve FIERCE players and the Leander community, the club has set its sights on opening its very own FIERCE Futsal Facility in 2026! With the club gunning for a Summer 2026 open date, check out an update from FIERCE United Chief Financial Officer Steve Keckler.
I am writing to provide you with an update on the new FIERCE Futsal Facility and the Capital Campaign to equip the building. The anonymous benefactor who is building the Facility has told us that construction is proceeding quickly and is projected to be completed in early summer. Once construction is complete, FIERCE will need to install flooring, netting, safety equipment, and furniture to outfit the building. We launched the Capital Campaign almost a year ago with the goal of raising $200K to cover these expenses.
I am pleased to report that to date, FIERCE United has raised a total of $105K, meaning that we are a little over half-way to the fundraising finish line. To reach the target and be able to open the building for FIERCE players and the community, we need your help:
FIERCE Cup: Give generously to the FIERCE Cup grass-roots fundraising campaign and reach out to family and friends to support FIERCE United. Leverage corporate matching opportunities through your employer. Players who raise over $1,000 are eligible for prizes.
Goal Contributor Program: Channel individual donations of $1,000 and up to the Goal Contributor program to earn exclusive benefits, including club-level recognition and other perks. Join the current four Goal Contributors and leave your mark on the Facility in perpetuity. Reach out to donations@fierceunited.com for more information.
Corporate Sponsorship: If you own a small business, donate directly to FIERCE to have your business be recognized to FIERCE families and anyone else who steps foot in the building.
