FIERCE Futsal Facility Update (Sep 2026)

To better serve FIERCE players and the Leander community, the club set its sights on opening its very own FIERCE Futsal Facility (FFF) in 2026! Since the club’s last update in March, the building has finished construction and is nearing the finish line for opening. With construction complete, FIERCE is now moving forward with outfitting the building for players and spectators. The process includes installing flooring, netting, safety equipment, and furniture in the FFF.
In August, FIERCE staff and families came together to help clean the floor in preparation for the futsal surface installation. It was backbreaking work, but it was great to see the FIERCE community come together! After several hours of scraping, sweeping, and vacuuming, the floor was in much better shape.
Recently, there have been great strides with flooring and safety equipment! Netting was installed across the north side of the facility, protecting the athletic alcove, player entrance, meeting rooms, and spectator area. The flooring crew has also now arrived and begun the two-week installation process for the multi-layered futsal surface.

Although FIERCE is rapidly approaching the opening of the Futsal Facility, there are still opportunities to support the Capital Campaign to fully outfit the building! To date, FIERCE United has raised $145K of the $200K fundraising goal. To help us reach our goal and prepare the building for FIERCE players and the community, families can contribute in the following ways:
Goal Contributor Program: Channel individual donations of $1,000 and up to the Goal Contributor program to earn exclusive benefits, including club-level recognition and other perks. Corporate Sponsorship: If you own a small business, donate directly to FIERCE to have your business be recognized to FIERCE families and anyone else who steps foot in the building.
