Building on their development as coaches and leaders, FIERCE Director of Coaching Kamille Cervantes and GK Director Nicki Swanson will continue their work with the South TX Olympic Development Program (ODP). Both coaches already boast several years of experience with the program and are excited to continue to work with elite athletes across South Texas. For the 2025-2026 season, Coach Kamille will serve as the 14G Lead Coach and Coach Nicki will serve as the Goalkeeper Director.
As the Director over all Goalkeepers in STX ODP, Coach Nicki has seen firsthand the benefits of participating in the program. She knows "ODP is a great program to play at a high competitive level with other players across South Texas. The coaches do a great job of focusing on developing players." Overall, it is a great opportunity for any player looking to supplement their development and gain opportunities outside of their club!

The Olympic Development Program (ODP)
The STX Olympic Development Program (ODP) serves to identify top players from across the state, support their development with additional training, and show opportunities for players interested in competing at the next level. ODP selects top players through their ODP ID events, then pool trains players once a month in preparation for showcases, regional friendlies, an international trip, and sub-regional events.
ODP Player ID Events
Players looking to accelerate their development and work with coaches from other programs are encouraged to attend these events. After the ID events, ODP staff select the top players from each age group to attend interregional events throughout the 25-26 season. Dates and locations for 2025 Player ID Events are shown below:
8/2-8/3: Round Rock Multipurpose Complex
8/9-8/10: Meyer Park (Houston)
Registration Deadline: July 13, 2025
