On June 18th the WDDOA announced the 2024-2025 Directors Council, a seven-member group consisting of Club Directors with teams competing in the league. Director of Coaching Kamille Cervantes will join Mike Abalos, Manuel Buentello, Mike Erwin, Wayne Bartlett, Andy McClelland, and Maca Teale on the Directors Council.

According to the WDDOA, the Directors Council "is tasked with helping shape the future of competitive soccer within WDDOA and creating the most competitive and exciting soccer environment for players and teams. Among its duties, the Directors Council will review the Requests for Consideration and provide input on league structure, formats, and Rules of Play."

Coach Kamille's election to the council is well-deserved - it is a testament to her proficiency as a coach and a leader. Director of Academy, Rachelle D'Amico, had the following to say about Coach Kamille's selection to the Directors Council:

We are incredibly proud of Kamille being elected to the WDDOA Directors Council. She is a fantastic coach, mentor, female leader, and always has the player's best interests behind every decision. Having a female on the council is a huge win for our community and the girls in our club.

This feat is yet another way Coach Kamille furthers FIERCE's mission to empower women, promote female leadership, and develop staff and players alike. FIERCE cannot wait to see the impact Coach Kamille has on the Directors Council during the upcoming season!
